Electrical Manufacturing Engineer A growing, fast-pace, manufacturer of custom battery packs, battery chargers, and printed circuit boards based in Hilliard is seeking a motivated, self-starting, high-energy Manufacturing Engineer to assist our production group in the manufacturing of lithium-ion battery packs with safety and/or fuel gauging printed circuit boards. A minimum of 5 years of manufacturing and/or design engineering experience required. Essential duties and responsibilities include start-up/improving manufacturing processes, troubleshooting production fallout down to root cause, assist with the development and maintenance of production test fixtures, resolve electrical/technical quality issues, capital equipment: research, purchase, upgrade, maintenance and repair, and ability to handle multiple tasks and projects is a must. The preferred candidate should also have a BSEET minimum, strong computer skills & Microsoft applications, solid academic foundation in the fundamentals of analog and digital circuits, must enjoy hands-on electronic circuit work, and must be a team-oriented engineer with excellent written and verbal skills. Following skills are a plus: o DC/DC converter troubleshooting skills o battery charger troubleshooting background o battery safety circuit architectures o Firmware experience in C o LabView programming A BS degree in manufacturing/electrical engineering or a related discipline is required.
